Volunteer Opportunities
No horse experience required! We have roles for every skill level and interest.
Working With Riders
Our riders rely on trained volunteers so they can focus on personal growth, confidence, and independence.
Sidewalker
Provide physical and motivational support to riders during lessons while maintaining constant safety awareness. Qualifications:
Minimum age: 14
Able to walk and jog short periods
Attend Volunteer Training
Commit to a weekly class assignment
Horse Handler
Lead the horse during lessons, ensuring safety and communication between horse and rider. Qualifications:
Minimum age: 14
Horse experience required
Complete Handler Certification
Attend hands‑on training
Able to walk at a fast pace and jog intermittently
Working With Horses
Help keep our herd happy, healthy, and ready to serve riders.
Opportunities include:
Grooming horses
Schooling horses
Feeding and tending to horses

We can host groups up to 150 volunteers for projects including:
